SKF Group, a supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication systems, has deployed SuccessFactors Compensation Management to its employees in France.
With SuccessFactors, SKF now gains management insight and executes consistency and discipline with internal processes, as well as achieves clearer communication with employees around salary increases. It also provides SKF with a future multi-lingual, multi-currency compensation platform for deployment to the company's additional subsidiaries in more than 100 countries.

SKF is currently running the system in both English and French, using Euros as the main currency, and is evaluating further deployment to additional countries in the future. SKF is also considering wider adoption of the SuccessFactors Business Execution Software (BizX) Suite, including Performance Management and Succession Management. The company holds considerable data in disparate systems, which could be leveraged at a departmental and executive level through a Performance Management system.

Jean Tournoux, human resource director at SKF in France, said: "We were previously reliant on Excel spreadsheets with up to 200 files being sent to each individual manager. It meant more than 1,000 individual file transfers globally. The old system was inefficient, time consuming, open to manual error and not as confidential as we would have liked, which is why we moved to SuccessFactors Compensation Management.

"SuccessFactors is simple, easy-to-use and extremely intuitive. Our senior management has been impressed with its simple yet sophisticated efficiency, especially in terms of ensuring business alignment with our internal processes. And because it is not a standalone system, we can connect with other modules, grow at our own pace and develop the system on an international basis, adding additional languages and currencies over time, when we eventually decide to do so."
